Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are traded securities whose solvency is essentially guaranteed by the Fed.  RU with me thus far?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Wrap this.  We now have the Fed saying we are going to guarantee what we already guarantee.
